Ecobank Nigeria is set to launch a new pop-up marketplace, “Oja Oge,” as part of its ongoing efforts to empower Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the country.

“Oja Oge,” a marketplace for fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle businesses, will take place on August 31st and September 1st, 2024, at the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC) complex in Victoria Island, Lagos. The event will feature a wide range of exhibitors, including fashion and lifestyle enthusiasts, social media influencers, and the diplomatic community.

According to Omoboye Odu, Head of SME, Partnerships, and Collaborations at Ecobank Nigeria, the goal of “Oja Oge” is to provide a platform for local vendors to showcase and sell their products to a larger audience. The event will also offer exceptional networking opportunities for entrepreneurs, shoppers, and everyone interested in the everyday economy.

“Oja Oge” is a one-stop shop for fashion and lifestyle businesses, offering premium entertainment and a unique marketplace experience. Participants will have the chance to build relationships with local and international visitors and explore new markets.

Ecobank Nigeria has been actively promoting SMEs through various initiatives. In addition to the successful Adire Lagos Experience, the bank is currently conducting monthly MySME Growth Series training programs to empower over 1 million SME operators across the country.

“Participation in ‘Oja Oge’ is free,” Odu added, inviting everyone to join the event and experience the luxury and ingenuity of fashion, lifestyle trends, music, food, and more.
