African integrated payments and digital commerce company, Interswitch Group, is set to empower Nigerian professionals with crucial skills and opportunities at its fourth annual Career Fair.

The highly anticipated event, themed “The Talent Paradox: Enabling the Talent Ecosystem in Africa,” will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Career Fair aims to bridge the gap between skilled individuals and the demands of the modern workplace, offering resources and insights to help attendees strategically position themselves for current and future career success.

Franklin Ali, Group Chief Human Resource Officer at Interswitch, emphasized the programme’s focus on holistic development, stating, “This Career Fair goes beyond simply matching people with jobs—it’s designed to equip ambitious talent with the tools and skills needed to excel in the ever-evolving world of work.” He further highlighted Interswitch’s collaborative approach, noting partnerships with respected organizations like ALX, Philips Consulting, Udemy, GLSS, and Pluralsight. These collaborations will enrich the attendee experience and broaden the scope of opportunities available.

The event will feature a dynamic panel session where experts, including Interswitch’s Franklin Ali and Chief Customer Officer Oremeyi Akah, alongside industry leaders such as Lanre Basamta (Co-Founder, Optimus AI Labs), Isioma Utomi (CEO, Catalyst Experience Solutions), Adora Ikwuemesi (CEO, Kendor Consulting), Olushola Olaleye (Business Consultant), and Gloria Babarinde, will delve into the complexities of the African talent ecosystem.

Attendees can also anticipate engaging keynote speeches, thought leadership sessions exploring industry trends, and practical masterclasses focused on upskilling and thriving in today’s professional landscape. A significant component of the fair will be the job fair itself, providing a platform for potential candidates to engage directly with hiring experts from various organizations. Furthermore, the event offers valuable networking opportunities for professionals to connect with peers and exchange knowledge.

Mitchell Elegbe, Founder and Group Managing Director of Interswitch, underscored the significance of the Career Fair 4.0 as a catalyst for talent development. “The Interswitch Career Fair reflects our deep-rooted commitment to nurturing African talent,” he stated. “This platform was conceptualized to cast the spotlight on individuals ready to lead, manage effectively, and create meaningful impact wherever they go. It’s more than just an event—it’s a launchpad for career advancement, connecting high-potential professionals with the right opportunities.”

Interswitch Group, recently recognized as one of the ‘Happiest Workplaces around the Globe’ in 2024, continues its mission to inspire Africa to greatness through initiatives like this Career Fair. Interested individuals are encouraged to follow Interswitch’s social media channels for further details about the upcoming event.
