FlashChange, Africa’s fast-rising digital asset management and cross-border payment platform, has announced plans to host a virtual webinar in commemoration of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2026. Themed “Investing in Women, Investing in Growth,” the webinar will spotlight the economic value of empowering women and advancing financial inclusion across Africa.

Scheduled to hold on March 7, 2026, the webinar will convene female leaders, entrepreneurs, finance professionals, and digital innovators to explore how intentional investment in women through access to capital, technology, mentorship, and networks can unlock sustainable growth for businesses, communities, and the broader economy.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Chief Communications Officer, Ememobong Udofot, Flashchange, said the theme reflects both a moral imperative and a strategic economic decision. “When women are equipped with the right financial tools and opportunities, they do not just transform their own lives; they multiply impact across families, enterprises, and nations. At FlashChange, we believe financial access is not a privilege; it is infrastructure for growth.”

The webinar will feature panel discussions focused on three core areas: bridging the gender financing gap, leveraging fintech for inclusive growth, and building resilient women-led enterprises in emerging markets. Speakers will share practical insights on navigating funding landscapes, embracing digital finance tools, and positioning women-owned businesses for scale in a rapidly evolving global economy.

According to global development institutions, women remain disproportionately excluded from formal financial systems, despite running a significant percentage of small and medium-sized enterprises. In Nigeria and across Africa, access to credit, digital payment solutions, and investment networks remains a major barrier to women’s economic advancement. FlashChange’s IWD initiative seeks to confront this gap by creating a knowledge-sharing platform that inspires action and collaboration.

As a fintech brand committed to trust, transparency, and accessibility, FlashChange continues to champion financial empowerment through innovative solutions that simplify digital transactions for individuals and businesses. The IWD webinar forms part of the company’s broader commitment to inclusive growth and responsible corporate citizenship.

The event will be open to entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and anyone passionate about advancing women’s economic participation. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in live Q&A sessions and networking opportunities designed to foster collaboration beyond the webinar.
