All is set for the 10th edition of Celebrating You 2021, a showpiece celebratory event hosted by TD Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa’s foremost distributor of tech and lifestyle products.

Hosted annually, Celebrating You 2021 is a glamorous Dinner Party and Awards night which remains arguably the most eagerly anticipated celebratory event in the Nigerian Information and Communication Technology (ICT) ecosystem.

This year’s edition holds on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the Livespot Entertainment Centre, opposite Nike Art Gallery, Lekki, Lagos. With the theme – #WeRise, the event will celebrate the courageous and collective Nigerian spirit which has remained indefatigable in the face of the encumbrances wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the impacts of the attendant lock-down on businesses, individuals, communities and social life.

‘‘Having been forced to shelve plans for last year’s edition, Celebrating You 2021 offers us a unique opportunity to toast the resilience of our collective spirit in the face of huge challenges,’’ disclosed Mrs. Chioma Chimere, Chairman of the Celebrating You 2021 committee, who doubles as Coordinating Managing Director at TD Africa.

Together, we have all passed through some of the toughest months we have ever encountered in recent times. Yet, not only have we embraced the new normal, but we have also shown that through it all, we can thrive. So, We Rise,’’ she enthused.

A glamorous, well-attended occasion, Celebrating You is arguably the only event which brings together the major local and international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and other stakeholders in the Nigerian technology industry under one roof in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. The event also attracts the crème of personalities including bank CEOs, captains of industries and other heavyweight representatives of the biggest brand names in Corporate Nigeria.

Equally important, Celebrating You 2021 will toe the path of other installments of the high-profile event by recognizing and celebrating TD Africa’s partner ecosystem, including a host of globally renowned OEMs in the technology space.

A night of world-class entertainment, the event will be headlined by multiple award-winning Nigerian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Flavour. Also expected to perform at Celebrating You 2021 is energetic and exciting female singer, songwriter and entertainer, Teni.

The event will be hosted by Darey Art Alade, a multi-platinum Afro R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, with renowned stand-up comedian expected to thrill the audience to his repertoire of rib-cracking jokes, while popular Nigerian hip hop DJ and Mavin Records star, DJ Big N will oversee the music policy at the event and subsequent after-party.ggg
