    Galaxy Backbone and Bauchi State partner to boost digital infrastructure

    Galaxy Backbone (GBB) and the Bauchi State Government have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance digital infrastructure and ICT-related services across the state.

    The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Professor Ibrahim A. Adeyanju, Managing Director/CEO of Galaxy Backbone, and His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed, Governor of Bauchi State.

    This collaboration leverages GBB’s state-of-the-art data centers in Abuja and Kano to provide Bauchi State with advanced ICT solutions. The partnership aims to:

    • Enhance Connectivity: Improve network infrastructure to ensure seamless digital connectivity across the state.
    • Build ICT Capacity: Develop local ICT skills and expertise through training and capacity-building programs.
    • Provide Consultancy Services: Offer expert advice on ICT strategy and implementation.
    • Deliver Hosted ICT Services: Provide cloud-based services and data center solutions to optimize government operations.

    Professor Ibrahim A. Adeyanju emphasized GBB’s commitment to supporting state governments in their digital transformation journeys. “This partnership with Bauchi State aligns with our mission to provide cutting-edge ICT solutions that drive economic growth and improve public services.”

    Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “By harnessing the power of digital technology, we can transform Bauchi State into a modern and efficient state. This partnership with Galaxy Backbone is a significant step towards achieving our digital aspirations.”

    This strategic alliance between Galaxy Backbone and Bauchi State is expected to yield significant benefits, including improved public service delivery, economic growth, and job creation. By leveraging advanced ICT solutions, Bauchi State can unlock its full potential and position itself as a digital leader in Nigeria.
