    Galaxy Backbone gets Best Federal MDA Award for excellence in sustainable infrastructure

    Galaxy Backbone Ltd (GBB), a leading provider of ICT infrastructure services in Nigeria, has been honored with the prestigious Best Federal MDA Award for Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure at the 2024 Nigeria GovTech Public Service Awards.

    The award, presented during the annual Nigeria GovTech Conference, recognizes GBB’s outstanding contributions to the country’s digital transformation agenda. The company’s innovative and resilient infrastructure solutions have been instrumental in supporting government agencies and organizations across Nigeria.

    In addition to the organizational award, GBB’s Managing Director/CEO, Professor Ibrahim A. Adeyanju, was honored with the Distinguished Trailblazer Award. This award acknowledges his visionary leadership and significant impact on the development of Nigeria’s digital infrastructure.

    Professor Adeyanju expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of collaboration and resilience in building sustainable digital infrastructure. He stated, “These awards reaffirm our commitment to excellence in public service delivery. Galaxy Backbone will continue to play a pivotal role in supporting the Federal Government’s digital economy initiatives.”

    The Nigeria GovTech Conference and Awards is a premier event that celebrates innovation and excellence in governance, focusing on sustainable infrastructure, digital transformation, and public service excellence.
