As Africa continues to accelerate its digital evolution, strategic dialogues around Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), digital identity, inclusion, and trusted ecosystems remain central to driving sustainable development across the continent.

In line with this vision, the management of Galaxy Backbone Limited, led by the Managing Director/CEO, Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju, and the Executive Director of Digital Exploration and Technical Services (DETS), Olumide Akinugbe, actively participated in the prestigious ID4Africa Conference held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The delegation participated in core conference sessions and attended high-level side events hosted by the Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL) and Co-Develop. These sessions focused specifically on advancing robust Digital Public Infrastructure across Africa and other emerging global economies.

The ID4Africa Conference serves as a premier forum, bringing together governments & policymakers shaping digital regulations, development institutions funding critical tech initiatives and technology leaders & stakeholders pioneering digital transformation.

Together, these entities explored pathways to build secure, inclusive, and interoperable digital ecosystems designed to spur economic growth and elevate public service delivery.

Galaxy Backbone’s participation underscores its unwavering commitment to anchoring Nigeria’s digital transformation. By focusing on innovation, secure infrastructure, and strategic partnerships, the organization continues to promote digital inclusion and strengthen government service delivery.

“Trusted identity systems, resilient infrastructure, and collaborative ecosystems are the foundational pillars required to secure the future of Africa’s digital economy,” Galaxy Backbone Delegation.

As Nigeria’s foremost digital infrastructure and shared services provider to government institutions, Galaxy Backbone remains dedicated to enabling seamless digital governance, fostering homegrown innovation, and supporting initiatives that position Nigeria and the wider African continent for a more connected, secure, and digitally inclusive future.
