    GTBank apologises to customers for service disruption

    Africa’s leading African financial institution, GTBank Plc has apologized to its customers over the service disruption that happened in the bank yesterday, especially across its e-channels.

    GTBank’s numerous customers were left frustrated yesterday with a large crowd besieging most of the branches, making fruitless efforts to either make transfer, withdrawal or even make of ATM machine within the bank or other banks.

    But in the statement issued this morning, the bank said it truly apologise for every inconveniences the bank’s customers experienced yesterday due to the service disruption, saying the bank fell short of its promise to deliver the best to its customers.

    The statement reads in part: “Clearly, something went wrong, but we have worked hard to fix it, and all services on our banking channels have been restored.

    “We sincerely apologise for every inconveniences you experienced due to the service disruption on our banking channels on Wednesday 4, October 2017

    “At GTBank, we know that when you walk into our banking hall, subscribe to our products or make use of our e-channels, it is because you expect the best from us. This is the reason we drive all our resources on a daily basis to ensuring we deliver on this promise.

    “Yesterday, we fell short of this promise and for this we are truly sorry”.

    GTBank Plc vast business interests span West and East Africa, as well as the United Kingdom. The Bank has an Asset Base of over N3.75 trillion, Shareholders’ funds of N538 billion and employs over 10,000 people in Nigeria, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cote d’Ivoire, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and the United Kingdom.
