    KPMG unveils agenda for 2019 digital summit

    Professional services firm, KPMG yesterday unveiled agenda for the 2019 Digital Service, which is set to hold on Tuesday, 26 November 2019, at the Eko Hotels and Suites Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

    Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, KPMG said the summit with the theme “Leveraging Insights and Experience to Scale,” will provide insights to organisations on how to leverage digital to create and capture the value that is transformational.

    “This Summit will attract a variety of business leaders from financial service institutions, consumer markets, telecommunications, oil & gas companies, Tech companies, investment firms, government and regulators,” said Boye Ademola, Partner & Lead, Digital Transformation, KPMG in Africa, in his overview of the event.

    He disclosed that the summit provides a medium to facilitate the convergence of great minds and insights that will shape the agenda of organisations across industries and sectors through an engaging discourse and empowerment that stretches the boundaries of innovation to drive.

    This year’s summit will focus on topics around Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics, Customer Experience Transformation and Design Thinking in helping businesses gain competitive advantage.

    “We are going to have thought leaders feature at this event, including the likes of Meaghan Johnson, Fintech Researcher and CX/UX SME; Ekechi Nwokah (Ph.D.), CEO of Mines; Iniabasi Akpan, Country Manager, Opay; Rolan Kab, Head of AI and Robotics, KPMG Center of Excellence, Israel; and Meital Raviv, Director and Head of FinTech & Innovation, at the KPMG Center of Excellence, Israel.

    The summit will feature masterclasses designed to provide in-depth insights on the subject of AI & Robotics, Customer Experience Transformation and Design Thinking. It will also serve as a platform to launch the new KPMG publication titled ” AI Powered Business Transformation”, which is designed on the foundational theme of “Leading through digital.”

    In addition, Dolapo Adeosun, Associate Director, Deal Advisory, KPMG in Nigeria, highlighted that the summit will provide a platform for Fintechs with innovative and transformative solutions to connect with investors committed to the segment. To facilitate this, the event will feature an exhibition of solutions from carefully selected Fintechs, which will provide the opportunity for direct interactions with investors.
