    MoMo PSB makes sending and receiving money across Africa faster than ever

    MoMo PSB is revolutionizing cross-border financial transactions with the launch of its outbound remittance service and innovative Gift Card service.

    “We are committed to delivering quick, easy, and user-friendly financial services, breaking down barriers to ensure seamless transactions across Africa,” said Phrase Lubega, Acting CEO of MoMo PSB.

    With the launch, MoMo users in Nigeria can now seamlessly send and receive money to and from 19 African countries including Benin Republic, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gambia, Liberia, Malawi, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Togo, Uganda and Zambia.

    Also, users can receive money from South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Mauritius.

    Simple and Affordable transactions are instant and automatically converted to the recipient’s local currency, senders pay a minimal 3% fee and are notified of the conversion rate upfront even as receivers receive funds without any additional charges.

    Convenient Access:

    • Use the MoMo app to initiate transfers with the “Transfer to Africa” icon.
    • Dial 6711*3# with your MoMo number for USSD transfers.

    Upgrade for Higher Limits:

    For high-volume transactions, upgrade your account to Tier 2 or Tier 3:

    • Tier 2: Link your BVN (Bank Verification Number) using the MoMo app or dial 6718*2#.
    • Tier 3: Call the toll-free helpline 671 for assistance.

    Gift Card Service for International Payments:

    MoMo also offers a new Gift Card service. Purchase e-vouchers directly from your MoMo account and use them for various international transactions, including online shopping and service payments.
