Moniebook, the business management platform under Moniepoint Group, recently brought together a diverse group of business owners for a networking event titled “An Evening with Moniebook.” Marking the platform’s first major gathering since launching last year, the exclusive merchant mixer offered attendees a platform to connect with team members, explore new product updates, and discover the broader Moniepoint ecosystem.

Timed to coincide with Customer Service Week, the event highlighted Moniebook’s dedication to fostering strong merchant relationships. Business owners across various industries—ranging from retail, logistics, and professional services to healthcare—were in attendance. Notable representatives from the Lagos food and hospitality sector included Fruity Life and Eat N’ Go, the master franchise holder for Domino’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery, and Pinkberry.

The interactive evening featured live product demonstrations, presentations from leadership, and insight into integrated Moniepoint solutions, including Monnify’s payment infrastructure, business financing, and corporate savings products. An open-floor feedback session allowed merchants to directly share operational challenges, ask questions, and suggest future features.

The event also served as a milestone following Moniepoint’s acquisition of Orda Africa earlier this year, formally welcoming former Orda merchants into the Moniebook platform. This transition reflects Moniepoint’s unified approach: ensuring every customer enjoys seamless access to the group’s full suite of financial and management tools.

Speaking on the event’s impact, Kolawole Osinowo, Head of Business Management Tools at Moniebook, stated:

“We built Moniebook to help businesses manage their day-to-day operations more effectively. Bringing our merchants together gave us an opportunity to hear directly from them, understand their experiences, and learn how we can serve them better. Their feedback will shape what we build next.”

Attendees praised the initiative, expressing keen interest in future community engagements. Moniebook remains committed to empowering business owners by pairing practical management tools with dedicated community support.
