The MTN Foundation, in partnership with SAIL Innovation Lab and Co-Creation Hub (CcHub), has launched the second phase of the MTN SAIL Teachers Fellowship Programme. The initiative aims to equip 5,000 public school teachers across Nigeria with key digital skills, innovative teaching methods, and leadership training.

    Key Program Details

    • Objective: To enhance the skills of public-school teachers and transform the learning experience for students.
    • Curriculum: The program will provide intensive training on topics like technology integration in the classroom, modern teaching techniques, and digital tools. Participants will also develop their personal leadership skills.
    • MTN Skills Academy: Participants will gain free, one-year access to the MTN Skills Academy, an online platform with self-paced courses on coding, data analytics, and digital marketing. This allows teachers to continue their professional development and prepare students for the digital economy.
    • Application Deadline: Interested teachers can apply for the fellowship program until October 19, 2025, at https://bit.ly/STFP2025.

According to Odunayo Sanya, Executive Director of the MTN Foundation, the program is a direct investment in the future of Nigeria’s youth. “By empowering teachers with digital competencies and innovative teaching methods, we are directly investing in the future of our youth,” she said.

The MTN SAIL Teachers Fellowship Programme, first launched in 2024, is part of the Foundation’s broader mission to drive sustainable development in education, health, and economic empowerment across Nigeria.
