    NCC to engage Unilag students for Consumer Conversation campaign

    The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is set to engage some students of the prestigious University of Lagos to be part of its Consumer Conversation Campus Voices.

    Though, the Commission emphasized that the engagement is not a recruitment exercise for employment at the Commission, it said that it is looking for students who have 10,000 fans on Facebook, 5,000 Instagram and 2,500 Twitter followers.

    “Are you currently a student of the University of Lagos with about 10,000 fans on Facebook, 5,000 on Instagram and 2,500 on Twitter? Then you are the one we are looking for to be part of ‘NCC Consumer Conversation Campus Voices’,” NCC said via Social Media.

    To apply, the Commission requested the student to send Social Media account details, Full name and course of study to doni@ncc.gov.ng, tolulase@ncc.gov.ng and kuzoekwe@ncc.gov.ng.

    The Nigerian Communications Commission had earlier this year declared 2017 as ‘Year of the Telecom Consumer’. The decision, according to the NCC is to strengthen the frontiers of the commission’s engagement with stakeholders, particularly the consumers that constitute the lifeblood of the telecom industry.
