Nigerians harbouring a desire for change in their economy now have an insightful resource material to look to following the planned public presentation and book launch of the book, “Digital Transformation: Evolving a Digitally Enabled Nigerian Public Service” slated for August 24, 2017 at NICON Luxury Hotel, Abuja time is 5pm prompt.

Written by technology expert – Jacobs Edo, Digital Transformation: Evolving a Digitally Enabled Nigerian Public Service is a dynamic resource about building a stronger Nigerian economy that works for everyone through the implementation of innovative technology solutions. In this book, Edo imparts his knowledge and experience in technology by enlighting readers to the emerging advantages of public service digitalization. The author also outlines steps to be taken to digitize the Nigerian Public Service as well as strategies to digitise public infrastructure and services.

Digital Transformation: Evolving a Digitally Enabled Nigerian Public Service is Edo’s debut book but the depth and clarity of the resource gives a clear indication of his mastery of the IT trade. When asked about the motivation for writing the book, he said: “I want to help steer government policies in the right direction, so as to help alleviate growing poverty within the population. By renovating Nigerian public service, the resultant effect should rub off positively on the populace.”

Digital Transformation has been endorsed by several professionals including Nigerian Development Politician, Hon. Esema Aguse.  He said: “Edo doesn’t only make a case for the need for digitization in Nigeria’s public service with the goals of efficiency, in system and people, but also goes through a very wide and comprehensive range of associated issues, from its implementability through its wealth creating opportunities and to how it can create values and enhance national social and cultural goal”

Nigeria is ranked as the largest economy in Africa; however, with 70 per cent of the population surviving on less than $1.25 per day, there seems to be a huge disparity in comparison to the wealth of the country’s natural resources.

Digital Transformation is a perfectly timed resource that will encourage readers to join in moving into the future of a better and stronger Nigeria that will curb illiteracy, ignorance and disease. Although primarily written to help improve the digitalization of the Nigerian Public Service, Digital Transformation is an excellent resource for developing countries who want to start their own digital transformation.

The book is available on Kindle, Paperback and Hardcover format from Amazon web store. For further details or to purchase copies of the book, please visit book website: http://www.digitaltransformation.com.ng
