In a major boost to Nigeria’s digital innovation landscape, New Horizons Systems Solutions Limited has commissioned a state-of-the-art ICT facility at Adeleke University.

The facility, named the Elder (Dr.) I.C. Egbuta ICT Centre, was constructed and donated by New Horizons Nigeria as part of its strategic commitment to equipping Nigerian universities with the infrastructure required to produce globally competitive graduates.

The commissioning ceremony, held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, marked over ten years of collaboration between the two institutions. The event opened with vibrant traditional performances by cultural dancers from the university’s Theatre Arts Department, celebrating a partnership that has already produced thousands of students with globally recognized digital certifications.

    The new center features:

    • Four high-end ICT studios equipped with advanced computer systems.
    • A 750-user capacity designed for large-scale digital learning.
    • Full air-conditioning and modern amenities optimized for professional certification training.

The building was officially commissioned by Chief (Mrs) Modupe Adeleke Sanni, representing the Chairman of the University Council, Chief Adedeji Adeleke. She praised New Horizons for its sustained investment in the institution’s growth.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Solomon A. Adebola, also lauded the organization for its consistent contributions to technological advancement and the practical empowerment of Nigerian youth.

The Managing Director/CEO of New Horizons Nigeria, Mr. Tim Akano, expressed appreciation to the university’s governing council for their enduring support. He reiterated that the goal is to enable institutions like Adeleke University to generate research-driven solutions capable of attracting international patent rights.

“Our vision is to equip Nigerian universities with facilities and training that enable students to compete effectively in the global technology ecosystem,” Akano stated.

Recognized as Africa’s largest ICT training organization and recipient of the 2025 CompTIA Best ICT Training Company award, New Horizons continues to lead the continent’s tech education sector.

The new center will serve as a hub for high-end technical courses, including cybersecurity & web development, Artificial Intelligence (AI) & full stack development and graphics & CompTIA (Hardware, Network, and Security+)

With a presence in over 90 countries, New Horizons Nigeria trains more than 100,000 students annually. This latest expansion further solidifies its mission to bridge local capacity gaps and produce highly skilled professionals ready for the global labor market.
