Nigeria’s mobile landscape witnessed a groundbreaking event last week with the launch of ZTE’s newest phone collection. This momentous occasion was spearheaded by a strategic partnership between ZTE, a leading tech innovator, and TD Africa, the continent’s top distributor of tech products.

Launching the innovative phones drew prominent figures, including Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, Chairman of MTN Nigeria, as the chief guest of honor. Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, founder of TD Africa, also graced the event with his presence. CEOs from the tech and e-commerce sectors and major media houses like Arise News ensured widespread coverage, highlighting the event’s significance for the Nigerian mobile market.

At the launch, Dr. Ndukwe emphasized the importance of continuous innovation and transparency within the industry. He applauded TD Africa’s 25th anniversary and the partnership, advocating for lower phone tariffs in Nigeria to boost accessibility. Dr. Ekeh echoed this enthusiasm, urging TD Africa’s partners to remain steadfast in driving technological advancements across Africa.
