An information technology company, TechnoTrend Platforms Nigeria Limited, yesterday rewarded some Nigerians who participated and won in the company’s ongoing Mega Games Promo with various prizes ranging from Smartphones and cash.

Specifically, 16 Nigerians went home with Smartphones, while five were rewarded with N1million cash each.

Speaking after presenting the prizes, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Technotrend Nigeria Limited, Mr. Doyin Adesina, said the promo, which is only available to Airtel subscribers is one of the ways the company is rewarding its customers that had remained loyal to the brand.

“We designed the programme to empower and enrich the customers who have been loyal to our brand,” he said while encouraging other people to join and win prizes.

Explaining the choice of Airtel among other platforms, Adesina disclosed that the Promo was designed  with the concept of winning smartphones every day, of which Airtel is a Smartphone network. “The choice of Airtel was by default,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, an Assistant Director of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, a Federal Government agency established by an Act 2005 to regulate lottery business in Nigeria, who was there to witness the prize giving ceremony has given credit to the Technotrend Nigeria Limited promo, saying right from the regulation, draw and prize presentations, the processes have been transparent.

“Technotrend has been consistently right from the stage of regulation, the draw and the prize presentation. Everything went on smoothly. I can vouch that everything has happened here is real,” the lady who do not want her in print because she is not authorized to speak to the press said.

Also, one of the winners of the N1million cash prizes, said she was not hopeful of winning anything, but just decided to try her luck. The visibly excited winner, thanked God for the win and also showed appreciation to Technotrend for giving  such opportunity for Nigerians to win prizes.

The mega games promo is a trivia game where people answer simple questions. To qualify for the draw,  a player must accumulate a minimum of 6,000 points for that day by sending 1 to a short code 8841 using the Airtel platform at a cost of N20/day.

Ten Smartphones are won daily and N1million every Friday.
