“As contained in our manifesto, our mandate is to build on the successes of the last executive, expand the horizon of NITRA and above all better the welfare of our members, which cut across television, newspapers, magazines, radio and online reporting,” he promised.

Chike added that the umbrella body of all Information and Communications Technology reporters in Nigeria is poised to use its position to pursue and strenghthen policies that will rejuvenate Nigeria’s ICT industry, especially the Digital Economy quest of the federal government.

Speaking further, Chike disclosed that NITRA is ready to partner with other stakeholders in the industry in order to move the telecom industry, touted as one of the highest contributors to the Nigeria’s economy.  “Our agenda is to help fasten industry growth through collaboration with industry stakeholders both in the public and private sectors,” he assured.
