As a way of giving back to the society, the Founder and presently Vice Chairman of CWG Plc, Mr. Austin Okere said he is on the verge of setting up the Ausso Leadership & Mentoring Academy to inspire leaders and budding entrepreneurs.

He made this known to all whilst giving his speech at the recent 25th Anniversary Gala held by the Company in Lagos recently. Austin Okere postulated that the proposed aim of the Leadership Academy, billed to kick off early next year would be to produce outstanding youths.

“I would be setting up the Ausso Leadership & Mentoring Academy to inspire leaders and budding entrepreneurs to become outstanding, so that they would go forth and set up other companies, the likes that can match or even surpass CWG; creating value, employment for others and improving the society,” he announced.

Okere, who retired as CWG’s Chief Executive Officer and transited the managerial position to Mr. James Agada, disclosed that the Academy is already attracting interest from Nigerians, promising that it would try to accommodate all who have expressed interest so far.

He noted that the move is part of his effort at giving back to the society for the so much that he had been so graciously given in the last 25 years.

Reading the remark, which many people have described as emotional, Okere thanked CWG Clients, Partners, Members of the Media, Regulators and most especially his wife; for carrying him for 25 years, stating that he and the company have stood tall because of them all, his personal giants. He ended by urging that, as he turns a new chapter in his personal life, same gesture and support should be given to the New Leadership of CWG.
