PalmPay, a leading fintech platform, has teamed up with AXA Mansard Health, Nigeria’s largest health insurance company, to provide accessible and affordable digital health insurance to millions of Nigerians. This collaboration allows PalmPay users to easily access a variety of health insurance packages from AXA Mansard directly through the PalmPay app.

Starting at just N500 per month, the insurance plans are designed to meet diverse needs. For example, the AXA Digital Health plan provides telemedicine consultations with doctors, N5,000 worth of medications, and up to N40,000 in surgical coverage.

For a monthly fee of N1,000, users can opt for the AXA Mansard MicroHealth plan, which includes unlimited diagnostic tests and funeral benefits. The AXA Mansard Accident plan is also available for N500 per month and offers comprehensive death coverage for both accidental and non-accidental cases.

According to Habib Kowontan, PalmPay’s Head of Wealth Product, this partnership is a significant step toward making insurance more accessible. He stated that it “breaks down long-standing barriers by placing reliable and affordable insurance solutions right at our users’ fingertips.”

Jumoke Odunlami, Chief Distribution Officer at AXA Mansard Insurance, highlighted that the partnership is part of a broader mission to improve the health and productivity of Nigerians. “Through partnerships like this, we are covering over 1.8 million Nigerians and ensuring that healthcare is accessible, available and affordable,” she said.

This partnership aligns with PalmPay’s mission to build a more inclusive digital financial ecosystem, empowering users to not only manage their finances but also secure their future.
