QNET rejects alleged links to 46 individuals arrested in Ogun State

Global lifestyle and wellness direct-selling company, QNET, has strongly denied any affiliation or business relationship with 46 individuals recently arrested by security agencies in Ogun State.

The disclaimer follows media reports detailing a joint security operation that led to the apprehension of the individuals, who reportedly claimed to be affiliated with the international brand. QNET has categorically stated that the suspects are not authorized representatives and were not acting on its behalf.

Like many prominent global brands, QNET noted that it occasionally faces challenges with unauthorized entities misusing its name, products, or direct-selling business model to orchestrate fraudulent schemes. These bad actors often lure unsuspecting victims with false promises of job offers, migration pathways, or quick financial gains.

Reacting to the development, Biram Fall, QNET’s Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, emphasized that the company’s business model has absolutely nothing to do with relocation or job recruitment.

“QNET does not support, facilitate, or promote cross-border migration as a means of participating in its business,” Fall stated. “We do not offer employment opportunities, migration pathways, relocation arrangements, or visa sponsorships. Any individual presenting QNET as a route to overseas opportunities is acting fraudulently and without authorization.”

The company reiterated that it operates under strict global compliance standards and maintains non-negotiable operational principles to protect the public.

These core guidelines include strict prohibition of cross-border recruitment or migration-related incentives, zero tolerance for the distortion of QNET’s name, products, or direct-selling model, absolute rejection of illegal activities, fraud, or immigration violations, with an emphasis on strict adherence to local laws and immediate disciplinary measures and legal escalation against anyone found violating these compliance standards.

QNET commended the coordinated efforts of Nigeria’s security apparatus—including the Nigerian Army, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the Nigeria Immigration Service—for their proactive steps in tackling illegal activities and shielding communities from exploitation.

Moving forward, the e-commerce-based direct-selling company pledged to continue its collaboration with regulators, law enforcement, and community leaders to stamp out misinformation and brand misuse. QNET maintained that individuals exploiting its corporate identity to deceive the public must face the full wrath of the law.

The company urged members of the public to remain vigilant and verify any claims regarding its products or business model directly through official QNET communication channels to avoid falling victim to unauthorized schemes.
