Tech leaders and chief executives converged on Lagos on Friday, June 19, 2026, for an exclusive industry gathering hosted by global tech giant Samsung and Sub-Saharan technology distributor, TD Africa.

The high-profile event was organized to officially unveil the new Samsung Experience Centre, located within the TD Africa Tec Experience Centre in Lagos. It provided a premium networking platform for key industry stakeholders, sparking engaging conversations around digital transformation while offering CEOs firsthand interaction with Samsung’s latest portfolio of consumer electronics, home appliances, and smart technology solutions.

Addressing the gathering of executives, Jingak Chung, Head of Product Management, Digital Appliances at Samsung, emphasized that the centre was built with business integration and experiential value in mind.

“The Samsung Experience Centre is designed to create meaningful product experiences,” Chung said. “We believe technology is best appreciated when people can see it, touch it, and experience its value firsthand. This facility provides businesses and consumers with the opportunity to engage directly with Samsung innovations and discover how our solutions can enhance everyday life and business productivity.”

Chung also praised TD Africa’s pivotal role in expanding Samsung’s corporate and retail footprint across the region, citing their market expertise and extensive distribution network as key drivers for technology accessibility in Africa.

Welcoming the executives, Chioma Ekeh, Chief Executive Officer of TD Africa, noted that hosting the tech CEOs aligns perfectly with the company’s mission to bridge the gap between innovation and accessibility.

“The Samsung Experience Centre provides customers with a unique opportunity to experience Samsung’s world-class technologies firsthand, enabling them to make informed decisions while accelerating technology adoption across Africa,” Ekeh stated.

The exclusive evening concluded with a fireside conversation featuring prominent industry leaders, followed by a guided tour of the new facility. The launch establishes a dedicated destination where partners and businesses can explore and unlock the possibilities of Samsung technology, further driving innovation across Africa’s corporate landscape.
