Born out of a deep understanding of the challenges businesses in Africa’s payment landscape face, Seerbit, a leading African payment solutions provider, is on a mission to revolutionize the industry as it has carved a niche for itself by offering flexible and inclusive payment solutions.

Speaking during a media interactive session in Lagos, the CEO of SeerBit, Mr. Omoniyi Kolade explained that Seerbit’s journey began with a simple yet profound observation: the fragmented nature of the African payment ecosystem.

According to him, the company recognized the need for a unified platform that could seamlessly connect businesses and consumers across the continent. This vision has driven its growth and development over the years.

“We saw a market plagued by complexities and inefficiencies. Thus, our goal was to create a solution that would address these pain points and empower businesses to thrive,” he said.

Kolade explained that Seerbit’s platform is built on the foundation of collaboration, stressing that by partnering with financial institutions and other key players in the ecosystem, the company has been able to create a robust network that enables seamless transactions.

“Our focus is on building a payment infrastructure that is inclusive and accessible to all. We believe that every business, regardless of size or location, deserves the opportunity to participate in the global economy,” he added.

With its commitment to innovation and customer-centricity, Seerbit is poised to become a major force in Africa’s payment industry. The company’s vision of a unified payment ecosystem is a step closer to reality, and its impact on businesses and consumers across the continent is set to be transformative.

Meanwhile, in a presentation by Uju Akinlolu, Product Marketing Manager at SeerBit, the company assured that it would continue enabling businesses to grow by allowing payments across value chains.

Akinlolu stated in the presentation that Seerbit supports the payment ecosystem to ensure that businesses scale, especially as payment is seen as the lifeblood of commerce in Nigeria and indeed Africa.

A cursory look at the presentation indicates that Seerbit as a payment gateway powers payment in three categories: Payment connections, Payment disbursement (Flow Management), and Solutions that enable businesses to leverage.

A notable takeaway from the presentation is: “We specialize in building scalable payment infrastructure. By deeply understanding our clients’ business models, we create customized solutions that expedite market entry and optimize payment processes across their entire value chain.”
