In a bid to encourage all Smile subscribers to own and utilize the MySmile App, Smile Communications has decided to introduce a special 15% recharge bonus for customers who download the app and recharge.

To fully benefit from the 15% Bonus on recharge as the campaign is called, all the customer needs is to download the App, activate it and recharge a monthly data plan using the App.

Commenting on the package, Abdul Hafeez, Chief Marketing Officer, Smile Nigeria, encouraged Smile customers to empower themselves by installing the MySmile App on their mobile phones.

He added that with the Smile services available on the MySmile App, customers who are yet to install and make use of it are missing a lot of things the customer can only do through the app. Indeed, MySmile App offers the customers endless possibilities.

The MySmile App, Hafeez avowed, was introduced so that customers can manage their Smile services anytime and anywhere, on their own.  He noted that their customers are at the center of all they do, and this enables them to create easy-to-use channels to manage their Smile services as well as engage with the company.

With MySmile App, customers can Recharge Airtime, Data, and Voice services. They can also Share Data and Airtime; Redeem Airtime vouchers as well as Check balance for Data, Voice, SMS, and Airtime. Smile customers can also Check the history of usage, purchases, and shares of Data, Voice, and Airtime; View personal information and KYC status; and Update their NIN in one easy step as required by regulations. Also derivable from MySmile App is the ability, by the customer, to connect with Smile on all social media platforms with one click and as well Chat with a Smile Customer Care consultant whenever they need to.

The MySmile App is a free and can be downloaded on any Android or iOS mobile phone. It is easy to use and customers can log in using the same credentials (SmileNumber/Username + Password) for the MySmile App and MySmile online Portal. These remain great attractions and innovations available to every Smile customer.

Smile launched the first 4G LTE network in West Africa in Nigeria in 2014 revolutionising the way people access the internet. The company was the first to launch VoLTE on its network and has continued with its innovation, having introduced SmileVoice, which is a free mobile app that enables customers with any Android or Apple iPhone device (including those which are not VoLTE enabled) to make SuperClear voice calls over Smile’s 4G LTE network. It was also the first to introduce an unlimited offering, which enables SuperFast data and SuperClear voice, all on one bundle.
