    TD Africa bolsters cybersecurity expertise in Africa

    TD Africa, a technology distributor, has strengthened its position as a cybersecurity champion in Africa by conducting a comprehensive training session on Cisco Network Security and Collaboration for its client, IT Horizons Limited.

    The training aimed to equip IT Horizons’ clients with the knowledge and skills to combat the growing threat landscape.

    The ‘Train the Trainer’ model adopted for the session empowered participants to become in-house experts, capable of effectively managing and protecting their organizations’ digital assets. By leveraging Cisco’s advanced security solutions, TD Africa demonstrated its commitment to safeguarding businesses across the continent.

    Abiodun Idowu, Assistant General Manager at TD Africa, emphasized the company’s role in driving technological advancement: “The dynamic threat landscape necessitates robust security solutions. Our partnership with Cisco, coupled with our distribution leadership, empowers businesses to fortify their defenses and achieve operational excellence.”

    Chuks Egbo, Client Relationship Manager at IT Horizons, highlighted the critical importance of training in addressing cybersecurity challenges. Stephen Asishana, Head of Sales, underscored IT Horizons’ dedication to delivering top-tier solutions to its clients.

    “TD Africa’s expertise and support have been instrumental in our ability to offer cutting-edge Cisco solutions,” said Stephen Asishana. “This training is a testament to our commitment to providing our clients with the tools they need to thrive in today’s digital world.”

    Cisco expert Theodore Chukwudi provided in-depth insights into Cisco’s network security and collaboration technologies, enabling participants to understand emerging threats and best practices for data protection. The training also covered collaboration tools to enhance productivity and streamline operations.

    By empowering IT Horizons’ clients with Cisco’s advanced capabilities, TD Africa is solidifying its reputation as a trusted technology partner in Africa.
