…. To Focus on Tech for Good

The Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, will play host to the much-anticipated biggest gathering of tech professionals in West Africa, Titans of Tech Conference and Expo on 26th to 27th July 2024. Spearheaded by Don Pedro Aganbi, Lead Consultant at Tech TV, said the event aims to convene top thought leaders, industry experts, professionals, CEOs, and presidents of various industry associations along with relevant government agencies.

Speaking to newsmen in Lagos weekend, Don Pedro Aganbi explained that the Titans of Tech Conference and Expo was initiated as a platform where the most influential players in the African information communications technology (ICT) markets can come together to exchange ideas and positively influence and promote ICT agenda for optimal good.

TOTCE will equally provide a platform for organisations to showcase emerging innovative products and solutions; actively engage the government and other relevant agencies in the widespread deployment of digital technologies innovations across the continent, expose the abundant Investment Opportunities in the tech sector to attract more investors in the sector and create opportunities for establishing strategic alliances and partnerships amongst local and foreign investors to expand ICT networks in Nigeria and Africa and bring together ICT stakeholders to x-ray and chart a new course for the future of Africa’s digital economy.

According to him, the theme of the 2024 Titans of Tech Conference, “Tech for Good” is a thematic approach that emphasizes leveraging technology to address societal challenges where government, organisations and individuals can use technology to develop solutions that address pressing social and economic issues such as healthcare accessibility, AI, education inequality, poverty alleviation, data, infrastructure protection and the rise of attacks, physical and cyber.

Speaking further, Don Pedro Aganbi, the visionary behind the annual Titans of Tech project said, “Today presents the opportune moment to begin constructing our future by leveraging appropriate policies, fostering collaborations, and harnessing the potential of 5G, AI, IoT, solar energy, and Blockchain to secure our country’s economic future.”

The Titans of Tech event serves as a vital platform to ideate and strategize, ensuring that Nigeria harnesses the full potential of emerging technologies for inclusive growth and sustainable national development.

Don Pedro Aganbi noted that the Titans of Tech Conference and Expo unfolds over two exciting days featuring opening ceremonies, tour of exhibition booths, Digital Governance Forum, Youth Digital Roundtable and Fintech Café.

The grand finale occurs with the 20th anniversary celebration of the Titans of Tech Awards popularly called the “Tech Industry Grammy” designed to celebrate hi-tech most important movers and shakers; the pioneers, innovators and connectors. Men, women, organisation and institutions that are at the forefront of pushing technology adoption and usage in Nigeria and across Africa.

The two-day Titans of Tech events enjoy huge and extensive coverage from local and international media organisations.
