QNET, a global e-commerce and direct selling company, recently hosted a media experience-sharing webinar as a follow-up to its flagship V-Convention (VCON) 2025. The virtual event brought together journalists who attended the convention to share their first-hand insights and experiences.

Specifically, Peter Oluka of Techeconomy, Royal Ibeh of Businessday and Funmilola Gboteku of News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), shared their experiences highlighting QNET’s commitment to transparency, ethical business practices, and combating misinformation.

The webinar, tagged ‘Together We Rise” Media Experience Sharing Webinar,’ is part of QNET’s ongoing media engagement strategy, aimed to provide a platform for journalists to discuss their observations from VCON 2025 and offer a clearer picture of the company’s operations.

According to these journalists, the convention, which attracted thousands of entrepreneurs from over 30 countries, serves as a major hub for training, product showcases, and networking within the direct selling community.

Peter Oluka emphasized the scale and professionalism of the event, noting that his participation in VCON helped dispel prior misconceptions about the direct selling industry and QNET itself, which he said were often fueled by negative media reports and fraudulent activities by bad actors.

Speakers at the webinar, including QNET representatives and the journalists themselves, stressed the importance of differentiating between legitimate direct selling companies and pyramid schemes. They highlighted QNET’s dedication to ethical practices, strong corporate governance, and continuous efforts to educate the public and its distributors about its business model.

Royal Ibeh spoke on new wellness and lifestyle products that were launched or previewed at VCON 2025. These products, she noted, address real-world needs and are supported by international certifications, reinforcing the company’s commitment to quality.

Overall, the webinar reinforced QNET’s strategic approach to building trust and credibility by providing direct, unfiltered access to its operations. By inviting journalists to experience VCON firsthand and then share their perspectives, the company is actively working to correct misrepresentations and strengthen its reputation as a legitimate and empowering business in the direct selling industry.
