Verve, Africa’s leading domestic payment card and token brand, has announced a renewed partnership with global sportswear giant, Adidas, for the seventh edition of VerveLife, Africa’s largest fitness festival. This marks the second collaboration between the two brands, united by a shared vision of promoting fitness and wellness across the continent.

Launched seven years ago, VerveLife has evolved into a cornerstone of Verve’s lifestyle initiatives, transforming fitness culture in Nigeria and beyond. With over 12,000 annual participants from West and East Africa, the festival has become a leading platform for high-intensity workouts, dance routines, and fitness challenges, culminating in vibrant after-parties.

Cherry Eromosele, Executive Vice President of marketing and Communications at Interswitch Group, expressed enthusiasm for the renewed partnership, stating, “VerveLife, in collaboration with Adidas, aims to deliver unparalleled experiences for fitness enthusiasts. This partnership enhances our commitment to fostering a healthy lifestyle.”

Brett Burgess, Commercial Director for Africa at Adidas, shared, “VerveLife provides an exceptional platform to connect with fitness-oriented consumers. We are excited to contribute to a movement encouraging active living and community engagement.”

VerveLife 7.0 will tour Nigeria, visiting Asaba, Enugu, and Abuja before the grand finale in Lagos. The event will also expand to Uganda and Kenya, culminating in a spectacular finale on November 2, 2024, at the Landmark Event Center in Lagos.

As Verve and Adidas continue to champion fitness across Africa, fitness enthusiasts can anticipate an even more electrifying VerveLife 7.0.
