Vesti, a financial technology company, launched two innovative features designed to revolutionize the migration experience for Nigerians and indeed other citizens

The two solutions are Miai and Safelock, which promise to empower immigrants with personalized guidance and secure financial solutions throughout their journeys. This launch marks a significant milestone for Vesti, following their announcement in Q4 2023 to become an AI-focused company targeting the global financial services market for immigrants, valued at $36 billion.

Speaking at the launch of the solutions in Lagos, South-West Nigeria, Olusola Amusan, Vesti’s Co-founder and CEO declared: “Today marks a turning point, as Miai and Safelock are meticulously designed to empower immigrants, making their journeys smoother and more secure. This launch is a giant leap towards our mission of becoming the go-to financial platform for the next half-billion immigrants worldwide.”

    How the solutions work

Safelock by Vesti: Through a powerful collaboration with Providus Bank, a leader in innovative financial solutions, Safelock addresses the specific financial challenges immigrants face. It offers real-time progress tracking to keep you motivated and on track with your savings goals. Effortless goal setting empowers you to define and adjust your plans as needed, providing flexibility and control over your finances. Advanced security features, backed by Providus Bank’s expertise, guarantee the safety and security of your financial information and transactions. With Safelock, achieving your financial goals and securing your future in your new home becomes a reality.

Miai by Vesti: Miai is an AI migration assistant and operates as a chatbot on the company’s website, within the app, and serves as a copilot on the web app, supported by founders who have raised $1.2m to date. Imagine having an expert by your side, readily available to answer your questions and guide you with personalized insights. Miai utilizes Machine Learning to understand your unique needs, delivering tailored answers to your specific queries.  Furthermore, Natural Language Processing empowers Miai to engage in natural, conversational interactions. Ask follow-up questions, delve deeper into topics, and feel like you’re talking to a human expert, not a rigid script.

Meanwhile, Olalekan Aderonmu, representing Lanre Ogundare, Head of Card Business at Providus Bank has this to say concerning the collaboration: “Providus Bank is proud to partner with Vesti on Safelock. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to empower individuals through innovative financial solutions. We are confident that Safelock will be an invaluable tool for immigrants managing their finances during their migration journey.”

A Celebration of Innovation and Collaboration

The launch event wasn’t just about unveiling features; it was a celebration of progress that will reshape the future of migration. An insightful Industry Stakeholder Panel discussion, moderated by Mr. Oluwamuyemi Orimolade of Microsoft, explored “Simplifying Cross-Border Payments through Innovative Solutions.” Leading figures from the finance and technology sectors shared valuable insights on the potential of innovative solutions for seamless cross-border payments within the migration landscape.

With the launch of Miai and Safelock by Vesti, a new chapter unfolds for immigrants. Vesti is more than just a platform; it’s a guiding light, illuminating the path toward a smoother, smarter, and more secure migration journey. Individuals worldwide can now navigate the complexities of migration with greater confidence, armed with the knowledge and financial security to turn their dreams into reality in their new homes.
