Zinox Technologies Limited, a leading African digital conglomerate, is demanding a public apology from Mr. Femi Falana, SAN, for including the company and its representatives in a recent lawsuit. Zinox maintains they have no connection to the underlying allegations.

Mr. Falana, acting on behalf of his client Benjamin Joseph, CEO of Citadel Oracle Concept Limited, filed a lawsuit (FCT/HC/CR/985/24) against Zinox and its chairman, Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh.

The lawsuit revolves around a contract dispute between Citadel and Technology Distributions Limited regarding computer supplies to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). Zinox emphasizes that this matter has no bearing on their company.

Zinox strongly objects to their inclusion in the lawsuit, citing the following:

    • No investigative agency, including the police or EFCC, has ever implicated Zinox in the alleged transaction.
    • No court judgment mentions Zinox or Mr. Ekeh in connection with the case.
    • Mr. Ekeh has never interacted with Mr. Joseph and has no involvement in the alleged transaction.

Zinox highlights Mr. Joseph’s history of unsuccessful legal actions related to these allegations. They reference dismissed charges and lawsuits against him, including a case where he was fined for providing false information.

Zinox believes Mr. Falana’s inclusion of their company is a deliberate attempt to damage their reputation. They demand a public apology from Mr. Falana if he cannot provide evidence to support the accusations.

Zinox assures its stakeholders that they will defend themselves against these charges and pursue legal action against those responsible for the false allegations.
