Zinox Technologies Limited, a leading ICT solutions provider in West Africa, has engaged with the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) in Abuja, marking a significant step towards advancing innovation and sustainable energy solutions within Nigeria’s tertiary education landscape. Under the theme “Advancing Innovation for a Sustainable Future,” the meeting aimed to establish a collaborative framework for technological transformation.

A high-powered Zinox delegation, led by Chairman Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, met with TETFUND Executive Secretary Arc. Sonny Echono and his senior management team. The core outcome of the discussions was the formation of a strategic partnership focused on delivering renewable energy solutions to universities and polytechnics nationwide.

During the visit, Zinox Managing Director, Mrs. Kelechi Eze-Okonta, presented the company’s diverse ICT services and verticals, emphasizing the critical need for policy support to bolster indigenous technology for sustainable economic growth. This presentation underscored Zinox’s capabilities and its role in driving technological advancement within the country.

Arc. Sonny Echono expressed TETFUND’s appreciation for Zinox’s contributions to technology awareness and adoption across Africa. He specifically commended Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh’s consistent and impactful efforts in driving Nigeria’s digital transformation. Furthermore, he outlined TETFUND’s commitment to establishing a robust framework for implementing effective energy solutions within tertiary institutions, recognizing the urgent need for sustainable power infrastructure.

Acknowledging Zinox’s expertise and proven track record, Arc. Echono expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential to develop scalable and efficient power solutions tailored for academic environments.

Both Zinox and TETFUND are committed to implementing innovative initiatives that strengthen institutional capacity within Nigeria’s higher education sector. This partnership represents a pivotal moment in equipping the nation’s tertiary institutions with the necessary technological infrastructure to foster a sustainable and digitally driven future.
