Zoho Corporation, the global technology conglomerate, is celebrating three decades of operations with the announcement of two massive milestones: reaching one million paying customers and surpassing 150 million users globally.

The 30th anniversary celebration follows a year of robust performance in 2025, during which the company saw a 32% growth in customers and a 20% increase in revenue.

Founded on a philosophy of being bootstrapped, private, and building all technology in-house, Zoho Corporation—which includes Zoho (cloud solutions), ManageEngine (IT management), Qntrl (BPM), and TrainerCentral (e-learning) has carved a unique path in the tech industry.

“Being bootstrapped and private makes Zoho an outlier, but our North Star has always been delivering customer value. Before any innovation becomes a product, we ask: ‘Will this help businesses?'” — Sridhar Vembu, Co-founder and Chief Scientist.

The company’s recent client wins span the globe, including major institutions and brands:

    • Africa/Middle East: Al-Ahli Saudi FC and Al Qadsiah FC.
    • India: Mercedes-Benz India and Union Bank of India.
    • Europe: Flora Food Group and Atout France.
    • Americas: Rapid Response Monitoring and Editora Globo.

As digital transformation accelerates across the continent, Zoho has doubled down on its commitment to the African market. The company’s transnational localism strategy focuses on providing scalable, high-value tools without the prohibitive costs often found in enterprise software.

“Our continued investment reflects our belief in Africa’s innovation potential. We are committed to supporting local businesses with tools that help them scale sustainably,” said Kehinde Ogundare, Country Head, Zoho Nigeria.

Africa is recognized as one of the most dynamic and entrepreneurial business environments in the world. There is a surging local demand for flexible, affordable technology built for long-term sustainability rather than short-term gains. Additionally, Zoho’s unified platform is designed to help both African SMEs and large enterprises scale effectively without facing technical complexity.
