    Ola Williams, others to inspire women at Revent Technologies IWD event tomorrow

    Ola Williams, Country Manager, Microsoft Nigeria & Ghana and Rachel Adeshina, Chief Information Officer at First Bank will lead other notable women to inspire women to challenge career stereotypes at the International Women Day event tomorrow.

    The other women who will speak at the event being put together by Revent Technologies are Oluchukwu Adumije VP, Software Engineering, Revent Technologies,  Simisola Isimi, VP, Technology Services UK & Nigeria, Revent Technologies and Adora Nwodo – Software Engineer, Microsoft.

    In a statement, Revent Technologies said the essence of the event is aimed at promoting the capabilities of African women in tech careers by highlighting the stories of high achieving women.

    “The virtual event themed “IWD TechStars: On powering their personal journeys to leadership roles in technology” will seek to inspire women to challenge societal biases that may stop them from pursuing careers of their choice,” said  Babatola Awe, Co-founder and CEO of Revent Technologies in the statement.

    He noted that women hold the key to unlocking limitless possibilities for organizations and indeed the world at large.

    “IWD TechStars event is an expression of our corporate philosophy of creating an environment where women can thrive. Our list of speakers is a terrific inspiration to young women across the world and our attendees will gain so much from their journeys to leadership positions in the technology space,” he added.

    Revent Tech’s IWD TechStars event will bring women together and inspire them using true stories from people who have ‘done it’ by tomorrow 2:30 pm on Twitter Spaces
