    Oyesola Awodiya inducted into Tech Titan Hall of Fame

    Oyesola Awodiya, Managing Director of Ezzential Global Services, has been inducted into the prestigious Titans of Tech Hall of Fame. The recognition underscores Awodiya’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector.

    Awodiya joins a distinguished group of industry leaders honored for their exceptional achievements and lasting impact on the nation’s technological landscape. The induction ceremony took place during the recent 20th anniversary of the Titans of Tech Awards, a prominent event celebrating excellence in Nigeria’s ICT industry.

    Mrs Awodiya was one of two women among the 13 distinguished individuals honoured. The other inductees included Femi Williams, CEO of Newwaves Ecosystem Limited; Gbenga Adebayo, Founder and President of Royal FM 95.1MHz; Amos Emmanuel, Founder of Programos Software and InnovationBed; Maggie Peters, Managing Director, Alpha Technologies Limited; Tony Emoekpere, President of the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON); and Muhammed Rudman, pioneer Chief Executive Officer of the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN).

    Additional honourees were Engr. Ikechukwu Nnamani, Managing Director of Digital Realty; Ayotunde Coker, Chairman of the Africa Data Centres Association (ADCA); Olawale Owoeye, CEO of Cedarview; John Nwachukwu, CEO of Zoracom; Pastor Lekan Balogun, MD of Netaccess Systems; and Lare Ayoola, MD of Tranter IT.

    According to Don Pedro Aganbi, Convener of the Titans of Tech Hall of Fame Awards, “Oyesola Awodiya is a remarkable example of innovation and leadership in the tech industry.

    Her contributions have not only shaped the future of the telecommunication industry but also inspired countless others. It is an honour to recognize her achievements with the Titans of Tech Hall of Fame award, celebrating her legacy of excellence and her unwavering commitment to advancing technology. Oyesola Awodiya is an exceptional tech woman with multiple competencies that cut across ICT, Banking, Power Generation, Telecommunications, Business Development, Project Management and Finance. Her outstanding contributions as the Managing Director of Ezzential Global Services have earned her a well-deserved place among the top individuals being honored with the Titans of Tech Hall of Fame.” Aganbi said.

    Another highlight of the evening was the cutting of the anniversary cake and the unveiling of the much-anticipated book, *50 Most Influential ICT Innovators in Nigeria*. This book not only celebrates past trailblazers but also acknowledges the ongoing contributions of industry leaders shaping the future of technology.

    The ceremony was further distinguished by the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to notable figures including Engr. Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, Chairman of MTN Nigeria; Col. Aiyegbeni Peters, Chairman of Alpha Technologies; Austin Okere, Founder of CWG; and Femi Pedro, Former Managing Director of First Atlantic Bank and Ex-Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
