Airtel Networks Limited (Airtel) has emerged as the sole bidder for the 3.5GHz Spectrum band, having paid the Intention to Bid Deposit (IBD) as stipulated in the Information Memorandum (IM), the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has announced. The Nigerian Communications Commission’s Computer Security Incident Response Team (NCC-CSIRT) has flagged XENOMORPH, a malware that installs Trojan in banking apps on the Android platform to steal login details, raid bank accounts and read the users’ SMS. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has released the country’s currency redesign policy revised cash withdrawal limits, saying the new policy is further to the launch of the redesigned Naira notes by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria last month.
