To boost the deployment of Fifth Generation (5G) services in Nigeria, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has decided to put up another two slots of spectrum in the 3.5GHz Spectrum band for auction before the end of 2022. This is coming after MTN Nigeria and Mofab Communications had earlier won the spectrum to deploy 5G services in Nigeria.
