The contribution of Information and Communications Technology to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), has risen from 11.22 percent in the second quarter of 2018 to 13.85 percent in the second quarter of 2019. In an effort to contribute to the development of education in Nigeria, Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a member of Standard Bank Group, has donated an ultra-modern lavatory to Abaranje Primary School, located in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State. Chinese technology giant, Huawei has claimed to have sealed 50 5G commercial contracts across the world, shipping 200,000 5G modules.
