Global Original Equipment Manufacturer, Ericsson has predicted that by the end of this year, 5G network subscriptions will be upped to 200 million across the world, even as more than 1 billion people will have access to next generation coverage within same timeframe. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has expressed worry over what it described as Internet connectivity gaps, which has persist in rural areas, particularly in  least developed countries (LDCs). Nigeria’s premier financial institution, Firstbank has launched a next generation Automated Teller Machine tagged FastTrack ATM, which is designed to promote financial activities on the ATM without any form of physical interaction with the machine.
