By Martin Ekpeke The 2020 Ethics Compliance and Integrity Scorecard (ECIS), released by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has ranked the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) over and above its sister agencies under the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy. In the scorecard obtained by ITPulse, the telecom regulator top the list among three other agencies under the Ministry, which featured in the infra-ministerial agencies’ ranking in ethics compliance and institutional integrity with 81.15 per cent. The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility has donated some locally manufactured temperature checkers and hand sanitizer machines to the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). The gesture, according to the commandant of the Academy Major General, Jamilu Sarham is aimed at reducing the spread of COVID 19 pandemic, adding that the items were produced locally by the Department of Mechatronics and the center Innovation and Creativity as part of research and development conducted to reduce the spread of the virus. Just this Wednesday, Google Photos announced it will stop offering free unlimited storage for high-quality photos on June 1, 2021. Photos uploaded after the date will be counted towards the 15GB Drive cap. If the account is inactive or exceeds the 15GB limitation for two years, Google may delete the photos after warning.
