The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), said it received a total of 19,841 complaints from telecoms consumers across its various consumer complaints channels in 2019. In a report titled ‘2019: NCC’s Regulatory Feats’ and distributed to Journalists, the Commission disclosed that out of the 19,841 complaints, it successfully resolved 17,851, representing a 90 percent success rate of consumer complaints resolution during the period under review. Thousands of notifications of attacks on major banks located in the sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region have been reported by Kaspersky security researchers.
