The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has given approval to CWG Plc to serve as the Meter Asset Provider (MAP) for Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC). The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), said Nigeria is in need of Internet Code of Corporate Governance to secure the country’s cyber space against imminent threats from cyber attackers and addressing issues such as online protection, privacy and data protection. The GSMA Intelligence today predicted that the socio-economic impact of 5G will be $2.2 trillion over the next 15 years, with key sectors such as manufacturing, utilities and professional/financial services benefiting the most from the new technology.
