  World Telecom Labs (WTL)  say it has passed  more than six billion calls lasting around ten billion (ten thousand million) minutes through its specialist VoIP switches deployed by five of Nigeria’s interconnect exchange carriers. The interconnect exchange carriers include  Breeze Micro, Exchange, ICN, Niconnx and Solid – to build new VoIP networks across Nigeria with local switching enabled at new POPs in Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Ibadan and Kano.   In the face of convergence, aided by the Internet, the Nigeria’s entertainment and Media (E&M) industry has been anticipated to generate a whopping $9.9 billion by 2022 representing a 21.5percent growth.   Months after it announced its commercial readiness of Yahsat’s third satellite, Al Yah 3, Satellite broadband service provider, Yahclick says it has partnered Internet service provider Zeta-Web to expand reliable Internet access across the country. In a Facebook Post, the telecom regulator said Mr. Ogbozor, who was until his death a Principal Manager in the Department of Corporate Planing, Strategy and Risk Management, died after a brief illness and admission at a hospital in Abuja, yesterday being September 14, 2018.
