    Digital Society Nigeria celebrates President Tinubu at 74, commends bold digital transformation agenda

    Digital Society Nigeria (DSN), a leading advocacy group for technological advancement, has extended its warmest congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday.

    In a statement released by the organization’s leader, Dr. Bayero Agabi, the group praised the President’s visionary leadership and his administration’s specific focus on steering the nation toward a robust digital economy.

    The congratulatory message highlighted the alignment between the President’s Renewed Hope agenda and the mission of Digital Society Nigeria, which Dr. Agabi noted that the administration’s commitment to building digital infrastructure is a critical step in fostering national prosperity.

    “We celebrate your dedication to Nigeria’s progress and your bold leadership driving the nation’s digital transformation. Your administration’s focus on digital infrastructure and innovation aligns perfectly with our mission to promote digital literacy and inclusion,” the statement read.

    Digital Society Nigeria is an initiative of the Centre for Cyber Awareness and Development. The organization underscored the importance of the President’s policies in bridging the digital divide. It comprises a broad spectrum of stakeholders from across the country’s tech ecosystem. The group remains focused on several key pillars.

    They promote digital literacy by empowering Nigerians with the skills necessary for the 21st-century workforce. They also conduct policy advocacy to support government frameworks that encourage digital growth and entrepreneurship. Additionally, they focus on cybersecurity and governance to enhance transparency and citizen engagement through secure digital platforms.

    As the President enters his 74th year, the group expressed optimism that the federal government will continue to prioritize the digital ecosystem as a primary driver of economic growth. By fostering innovation and enhancing digital governance, DSN believes Nigeria is well on its way to becoming a digitally empowered nation.
