    Ikpeme Neto of Wellahealth Technologies  only Nigerian to make TOP 10 in 2023 Africa’s Business Heroes Competition

    The Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Wellahealth Technologies, Mr. Ikpeme Neto is the only Nigerian tech startup to make the Top 10 in the 2023 Africa’s Business Heroes Competition, an annual competition organized by the Jack Ma Foundation. 

    Ikpeme Neto emerged top 10 of the 27,267 entrepreneurs hailing from all 54 African countries that applied for the 2023 Africa’s Business Heroes Competition.

    “The journey to identify our Top 10 heroes was nothing short of extraordinary. After undergoing a rigorous screening process, in-depth interviews, and a riveting in-person semi-final held in Kigali, we have successfully shortlisted our 2023 Top 10 heroes!

    These remarkable individuals, have an average age of 35 and form a diverse group consisting of 3 inspiring females and 7 outstanding males.

    The top 10 heroes operate in 9 African nations. They are:

    1. Mr. Ayman Bazaraa, CEO and Co-Founder, Sprints (Egypt)
    2. Mr. Andrew Takyi-appiah, Founder, Zeepay Ghana Limited (Ghana)
    3. Ms. Christina Gyisun, CEO and Co-Founder, Sommalife Limited (Ghana)
    4. Ms. Bola Bardet, CEO and Co-Founder, Susu (Ivory Coast)
    5. Mr. Thomas Njeru, CEO and Co-Founder, Pula Advisors Limited (Kenya)
    6. Mr. Ismael Belkhayat, CEO and Founder, Chari (Morocco)
    7. Mr. Ikpeme Neto, CEO and Founder, Wellahealth Technologies (Nigeria)
    8. Mr. Albert Munyabugingo, CEO and Co-Founder, Vuba Vuba Africa LTD (Rwanda)
    9. Ms. Nthabiseng Mosia, CMO and Co-Founder, Easy Solar (Sierra Leone)
    10. Mr. Theo Baloyi, CEO and Founder, Bathu (South Africa)

    Area of business concentration for the top 10 includes Agriculture, Energy, Financial Services, Education and Training, Healthcare, and Retail.
