    Pantami to commission 11 projects from NCC, NITDA and others

    The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami will tomorrow Tuesday, August 11, 2020 commission eleven completed projects across the country under what the Ministry tagged ‘Digital Economy Phase 2.’

    The eleven projects are the initiatives of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST); all of which are under the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

    “The Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy,  Dr. Isa Pantami is set to commission the following completed projects for the digital economy sector virtually,” the Ministry announced in a radio programme.

    The projects, which will be commissioned virtually are Tertiary Institution Knowledge Center (TIKC), located in Delta State University, Abraka; New Neighborhood Post office in Delta State; Remodeled National Mail Exchange Centre in Mbiama, Bayelsa State.

    Others are e-HealthData Sharing Center in Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Bauchi; Virtual Examination Centre in the University of Maiduguri; Information Technology Innovation Centre in Kogi State University; Information Technology Capacity Building at the Centre College Of Education, Jigawa and FUTO, Imo State.

    The Minister will also commission Emergency Communications Center (ECC) in Ilorin, Kwara State and

    Calabar, Cross River State and School Knowledge Center (SKC) in GDSS, Gombe State.

    The commissioning is scheduled to hold by 11:30 AM.
