100Pay, a crypto payments platform, has announced a significant investment in fostering cryptocurrency adoption in Nigeria. The company has launched a $200,000 startup fund to support businesses integrating crypto payments into their operations and opened a new 4,000-square-meter headquarters in Port Harcourt.

The startup fund aims to empower businesses using 100Pay’s PAY Checkout platform to access resources and support for implementing crypto transactions. Several startups, including Everest Mobility, Cloudnotte, and Meedleman, have already benefited from the fund.

100Pay’s PAY token plays a crucial role in the program, offering businesses a seamless way to accept and convert digital currencies into local currency. With over 20,000 businesses already on board, 100Pay is committed to making crypto more accessible in Nigeria.

“Our startup fund is a key part of our vision to empower businesses and attract crypto-savvy customers,” said Brainy Josh, CEO and founder of 100Pay.

100Pay’s infrastructure supports payments in over 20 cryptocurrencies and offers efficient conversion from USDT and PAY tokens to Naira. The company is also driving HXAfrica, a real estate exchange, and partnering with Nano Apps to support app developers.

In addition to its investment in technology and startups, 100Pay is expanding its operations and creating job opportunities. The company has hired over 50 new employees and plans to add 1,000 more jobs in the next two years.

With its new headquarters and growing team, 100Pay is well-positioned to continue its mission of promoting crypto adoption and driving economic growth in Nigeria.
