The study of Matter, Energy, Time and space which are the fundamental features of our universe is called Physics. Matter and energy coalesce to form complex structures called atoms, which then combine into molecules. The study of atoms, molecules and their interactions is called Chemistry. Certain Molecules can combine to form particularly large and intricate structures called organisms. The study of organisms is called biology.
Armed with this background let us now examine the issue of 5G which falls under the subject of physics and the Coronavirus which is biology.
This discussion will cover the Physics of Electromagnetic frequency, The meaning of Radiation, radioactivity, the chemistry of atoms and what ionization means and the biology of human cells and how it interacts with the non ionizing radio waves used for wireless communication. We will also understand the biology of viruses, DNA signatures. We will then conclude with the actual deployment of the 5G technology around the world and see any correlation with the COVID case.
What is a Coronavirus
Coronavirus is a broad category of viruses which includes the common cold, SARS (the severe acute respiratory syndrome of which there were outbreaks in 2002 and 2004) and this new coronavirus identified in people in Wuhan.
Corona is a class of viruses including SARs, MERS, Swine Flu, Avian flu, SARS-CoV-2. These are distinct organisms that have unique DNAs. From the DNA sequence of SARS-CoV-2, it is different from the other ones and it has been established by laboratory tests.
DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person’s body has the same DNA. Most DNA is located in the cell nucleus (where it is called nuclear DNA), but a small amount of DNA can also be found in the mitochondria (where it is called mitochondrial DNA or mtDNA). Mitochondria are structures within cells that convert the energy from food into a form that cells can use.
This means that any living thing can be identified by its DNA. This is why these tests can reveal the paternity of a child for example because they will simply check the DNA of the child against the parent’s own and establish a connection. Also, human DNA is distinct from other organisms. Therefore it has been established scientifically that the Coronavirus that was discovered in Wuhan, China is a separate, distinct organism. It is not a mutation of a human cell or any other coronavirus before it. This is FACT, not FICTION
Covid-19 Is Caused by a Virus
SARS-CoV-2 is what is known as a single-strand RNA virus. It is similar to the coronaviruses that live in bats and may have been transmitted to humans through a secondary pangolin host. Because this virus is zoonotic — a disease that can be transmitted to humans from animals — we already have a good idea where it came from. SARS-CoV-2 is the virus that causes the disease known as Covid-19. Transmission is primarily droplet-born, though the virus has some ability to live on surfaces when outside the body. The incubation period for Covid-19 is a median of five days, with a range of 0-14 days. Humans were first exposed to SARS-CoV-2, as far as we know right now, at what is known as a wet market in Wuhan, China. (Wet markets are places where meat, fish, and produce are sold, as compared with “dry” markets, where electronic goods or household supplies are sold.)
Lab Test for the Virus.
CDC has developed a new laboratory test kit for use in testing patient specimens for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the virus that causes COVID-19. The test kit is called the “Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time Reverse Transcriptase (RT)-PCR Diagnostic Panel.” It is intended for use with the Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast DX Real-Time PCR Instrument with SDS 1.4 software. This test is intended for use with upper and lower respiratory specimens collected from persons who meet CDC criteria for COVID-19 testing. CDC’s test kit is intended for use by laboratories designated by CDC as qualified, and in the United States, certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) to perform high complexity tests.
So that concludes Part 1 – The Biology of the disease.
An atom is the smallest particle that can be described as a chemical. Smaller particles aren’t chemicals in the same way that wheels, windscreens and seats aren’t cars – they are parts of them, but you need a few to make the whole.
At the centre of each atom is a nucleus, containing a number of protons (positively charged particles). The number of protons determines what chemical the atom is. All carbon nuclei contain six protons – it is what defines them as carbon nuclei. Five protons would be a boron atom, seven protons a nitrogen atom.
The nucleus also contains a number of neutrons (a particle with no charge). Atoms of the same chemical can have different numbers of neutrons. Some 99% of carbon atoms have six neutrons, when added to the six protons this gives an atomic mass of 12.
Radioactivity is the term given to the breaking-up (decay) or rearrangement of an atom’s nucleus. Decay occurs naturally and spontaneously to unstable nuclei. This instability is usually caused by a mismatch between the number of protons and neutrons.
What’s the difference between radioactivity and radiation?
As we have seen, radioactive decay is a property of a particular nucleus. In comparison, radiation is a possible consequence of many processes, not just radioactivity.
Radiation is the term given to a traveling particle or wave and can be split into three main types:
- non-ionising radiation: essentially the low-energy parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. This includes all the light you see, radio waves (also known as microwaves – as in the oven) and infrared (“heat” radiation). Ultraviolet falls into the high energy end of this category.
- ionising radiation: radiation that can remove an electron from its orbital
- neutrons: free neutron particles that can collide with other atoms.
Non-ionising radiation is most damaging in obvious ways. Exposure to microwaves or infrared waves causes susceptible materials to heat up. Alternatively, ionising radiation can be less obvious but, changing an atom into a more reactive ion, can create longer-lasting damage.
Now that we understand Radiation and what ionisation means, I will explain a little further about how radiation is controlled.
The international body that controls Non ionising radiation is called the International Commission for Non Ionizing Radiation Protection – ICNIRP. https://www.icnirp.org/en/activities/news/news-article/rf-guidelines-2020-published.html
This body ensures that any equipment made in the world that falls under non ionising radiation is regulated. Just like NAFDAC controls food and drugs, these guys set the guidelines for NIRP. The link above is the guideline for 2020. They have been issuing guidelines since 1998.
Radiofrequency EMFs consists of oscillating electric and magnetic fields; the number of oscillations per second is referred to as “frequency,” and is described in units of hertz (Hz). As the field propagates away from a source, it transfers power from its source, described in units of a watt (W), which is equivalent to joule(J, a measure of energy)per unit of time (t). When the field impacts the material, it interacts with the atoms and molecules in that material. When a biological body is exposed to radiofrequency EMFs, some of the power is reflected away from the body, and some is absorbed by it. This results in complex patterns of electromagnetic fields inside the body that is heavily dependent on the EMF characteristics as well as the physical properties and dimensions of the body. The main component of the radiofrequency EMF that affects the body is the electric field. Electric fields inside the body are referred to as induced electric fields (Eind, measured in volt per meter; Vm−1), and they can affect the body in different ways that are potentially relevant to health.
Let’s Talk About 5G
The 5th Generation (5G) radio standard is comprised of several different components. 5G can be deployed in the existing sub-6GHz spectrum, which is how T-Mobile and most of the rest of the world do it, or in mmWave signals at 20GHz+ frequency ranges. The sub-6GHz spectrum that T-Mobile is using offers range that’s closer to LTE, but only modestly improves on performance. This type of 5G is more like “LTE+” in terms of the performance benefits you’ll gain than anything like the leap from 3G – LTE.
What about the other type of 5G, mmWave? Millimeter-wave radiation has some distinct characteristics, all of which can be boiled down into a two-sentence summary: It sucks.
5G is the next generation of wireless network technology, following on from 4G. Like 4G, 3G and 2G before it, 5G mobile data is transmitted over radio waves—a small part of the whole electromagnetic spectrum (which includes microwaves, visible light and X-rays).
These radio waves are non-ionising, meaning they don’t damage the DNA inside cells, as X-rays, gamma rays and UV rays are able to do. 5G, although at slightly higher frequencies than previous networks, is still in this radio part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
The Conspiracy Theories can now be addressed, now that we understand the science – The Physics of Radiation, Radio Frequency; The Chemistry of ionisation and the biology of cellular structure 5G can’t penetrate obstacles. What counts as an obstacle? Well, first you’ve got the usual things: Wood, stone, metal, etc. Then you’ve got the less-usual things, including rain, water molecules in the atmosphere more generally, humans, sheets of paper, and transparent glass. If 5G’s obstacle penetration rate is 15-30x worse than LTE’s, you can bet one of the things it literally isn’t penetrating is you.
Science Facts 1. Telecommunications waves are non-ionising 2. 5G cannot penetrate humans.
The Conspiracy Theories
It’s true that Wuhan does have some 5G coverage. The local government listed a number of venues with 5G coverage in August 2019. We can’t find evidence it was the very first city with 5G but we’ve seen reports saying Wuhan was one of several Chinese cities where early 5G trials took place. Another said Wuhan was “one of the first pilot cities of the 5G network in China”
Biological Weapon; America or China invented it and somehow got loosed upon the world Economic Revenge – Trump versus China and Huawei?
End Times = 666 plus New World Order
Bill Gates= Bill Gates Foundation, Rothschild Vanguard & Blackrock ChiCom manufacture Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak by funding both the creation of the virus and the vaccine. Bill Gates is the New World Order’s equivalent of a chief science officer. As such, his top priority is depopulation. His stated method is vaccines. Bill is walking in his fathers’ footsteps, who was also tasked with depopulation while the head of Planned Parenthood. A proud legacy of eugenicists.
The Business Case for 5G
Limited deployment across the world because of the heavy CAPEX investment. Not in Nigeria yet at all although MTN did a trial in Abuja last year. Rain launched in SA but extremely limited scope. Still 5 years away at best. 3G coverage in Nigeria (70%) and 4G Coverage (17%) is still the predominant technology.
Airtel and MTN still need to complete 4G rollout (which will only make sense in cities with a good market for data) before they go to 5G if ever.
5G is a game-changer and would require everyone to pitch in, including government and other private sector operators because it is not a pure telecom play but a whole radical IoT approach. Think smart cities, transportation, education, health etc.
The global 5G rollout is still in its infancy, but US carriers are in a tough spot. Many of the mid-band frequencies that are perfect for 5G are reserves for government and regulatory functions. So, the first wave of 5G in the US uses millimeter-wave technology. These signals reach into the tens of gigahertz, much higher than LTE. Millimeter-wave can carry a lot of data, which is how Verizon shows off those multi-gigabit speeds on mobile devices. However, they don’t propagate very far, and a wall will stop them dead.
The 3G and 4G rollouts were far from perfect, but lighting up a city with those networks meant most of the city would get coverage. With 5G, Verizon is basically going street-by-street. Previously, it only provided vague coverage maps that pointed to cities with some 5G coverage. Now, you can look at maps that show which city blocks of the 18 current 5G markets have coverage.
Finally, we come to the end of this presentation. I hope I have shed some light on this whole matter in my own small way. Hopefully, you are more informed about the issue and would be responsible for information sharing henceforth.
We are facing the worst pandemic in human history in the past 100 years along with significant economic consequences, and therefore ignorance at this point can be a killer.
You can check the GSMA report on telecoms deployment across Nigeria. These are authentic bodies and not internet trolls.
We already know where coronavirus comes from. We’ve found the animal reservoirs. We’ve identified the source of the outbreak and, in many cases, traced local infections back to specific individuals or group events. The idea that 5G could cause coronavirus outbreaks is being generated by trolls and liars, aided by frightened people who don’t understand how all of this works. Don’t be fooled. The problem with 5G is that 5G is a bad economic deal for most people right now. It doesn’t cause cancer. It doesn’t cause coronavirus, either.
