Touted as the world’s first 13.3-inch OLED windows detachable laptop, the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED by ASUS combines productivity and entertainment, allowing users to work and play without limits at only 785 g and 7.9 mm thin, mobile entertainment is further enhanced with its large 13.3-inch screen.

The Vivobook 13’s Corning Gorilla Glass touchscreen offers an anti-fingerprint coating to help keep your screen clean as well as scratch-resistant.

In terms of specifications, Vivobook 13 Slate OLED comes with Aluminum alloy, Intel quad-core Pentium processor, Windows 11 Pro OS, 13.3” FHD OLED 1920X1080 (16:9), 550-nit peak brightness 100% DCI-P3 color gamut display and Intel UHD integrated graphics.

Other specifications are 8GB memory with storage of up to 128 GB eMMC and up to 256 GB PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 SSD. It has a Dual-band 2×2 Intel WiFi 6 (802.11ax) with Bluetooth® 5.2, while the connectivity is 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with display / Power Delivery support and a 50Whr lithium-ion battery with over 9 hours of battery life. It also comes with a front and rear 0f 5M and 13M respectively.

The Vivobook 13 has a detachable keyboard Full-size keyboard with 1.4 mm key travel, 19.05 mm key pitch, 0.2mm key-cap dish and Quad stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The size is 309.9 x 190 x 7.9 mm and weighs 785g for Tablet, 335 g for Keyboard, 270 g for and 15g for Stylus.

Other features of the Vivobook 13 are:

    2-in-1 versatile modes

Whatever you want to do, the versatile Vivobook 13 Slate OLED adapts to your needs. Watch, type, draw, write, or just listen — the choice is yours, in either landscape or portrait mode, with or without a keyboard. Tablet mode makes it easy to take notes on the go, or you can blitz through your work chores in laptop mode.

The new ASUS Pen 2.0 Stylus

Whether you’re retouching pictures, designing graphics, or simply taking notes, you’re probably going to be excited about the latest stylus – the ASUS Pen 2.0. The stylus supports 4096-level pressure sensitivity and as low as 5g of pen tip force for creating those fine details. It samples faster at 266 Hz and has less than 36ms of latency. It also has 4 interchangeable pen tips (2H, HB, H, and B) for various usage scenarios to meet the user’s writing or drawing preferences.

    Detachable keyboard and large touchpad

The ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED will bundle a slim and detachable keyboard. To provide the best typing and productivity experience, the detachable keyboard features full-size keys, a 19.05 mm pitch (the distance between the middle of a key to the middle of its adjacent key), 0.2 mm key-cap dish, and 1.4 mm key travel. It is securely held on to the tablet section with a set of strong magnets, a pair of guiding slots, and a set of “pogo pin” connectors that ensure an instant connection – so the keyboard is ready to use instantly as soon as it is snapped on.

    Amazing visual experience

The ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED features a 13.3-inch 16:9 OLED HDR display, 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 0.2 ms response time, 1.07 billion colors, up to 550 nits of peak brightness, and 0.0005 nits of deep black brightness, providing a brighter and more detailed viewing experience.

More reasons why you need to choose the ASUS OLED laptop

    Professional-grade true-to-life colors

ASUS OLED laptops deliver exceptionally detailed and realistic visuals, with a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.  Colors reproduced on the display are richer and more vivid: it is ideal for color-intensive projects, but it also enhances any kind of content.

Blue Light Reduction for Eye Care

Blue light is known to cause visual discomfort and disrupt sleep quality. By calibrating the spectrum, ASUS OLED laptops emit 70% less harmful blue light. Unlike traditional blue-light filters, shifting the spectrum means there is no need to compromise on color accuracy.

Since children’s eyes are not fully developed, with a more transparent lens and cornea, harmful blue light can negatively affect the eye more easily – with 80% blue light pass-through for 5-year-old children, compared to 20% for 60-year-old adults.

    Great clarity at low brightness

When calculating the 3D color volume — which adds illumination to the traditional 2D color gamut — ASUS OLED displays have about a 60% higher color volume, offering better color performance at any brightness level.

When comparing color expression under different brightness, OLED’s color expression stays the same even at lower brightness, while LCD colors degrade significantly.

ASUS OLED laptops are able to show great detail at lower brightness settings. This means you can see the content more clearly without having to turn up the brightness; therefore, your eye consumes even less blue light.

ASUS OLED laptops are able to maintain color detail at any brightness, so you can adapt the brightness according to your usage environment. With lower brightness needed on OLED displays, the less blue light would penetrate through your eyes.

    Extreme Contrast, Astonishing Detail

OLED display has millions of light-emitting diode (LED), instead of just 50 or 60 LEDs in the LCD display. It can turn on and off the LED for each pixel on the screen and achieve true black with a 1,000,000 :1 extreme contrast ratio.

0.2ms Instant response for smooth actions

ASUS OLED displays have an ultrafast 0.2 ms response time, which is 50x faster compared to the average laptop LCD display. This ensures smoother fast-paced action scenes, low-latency gameplay, and subtle details like blur-free text scrolling.

A new experience with Windows 11

With Windows 11, users can run all your favorite Windows apps and programs. Furthermore, the experience for tablets is user-friendly and intuitive. Swiping on the left side of the screen gives users access to Microsoft Window’s new customizable widgets panel, where users can catch up on the latest news, check the weather, and more! While swiping on the right side of the screen allows users to check their notifications quickly.

    Intel Bridge Technology

In addition, Windows 11’s built-in Intel Bridge Technology lets you run Android apps. So user can access all their favorite mobile apps seamlessly on the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED. Placing it in portrait mode, not only can you scroll natively through apps, but you can also do live streams and personal video calls.

Power button with a fingerprint sensor

The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED’s power button features an integrated Single Sign-On (SSO) fingerprint sensor which is an easy and more secure way to unlock the device. Users only press the power button once to get straight to work.
