Treepz, Africa’s leading corporate mobility startup, is marking its fifth anniversary with a series of milestones and the launch of a new, upgraded mobility app.

Over the past five years, Treepz has established itself as a key player in the African mobility industry, providing cutting-edge solutions to address transportation challenges across the continent. The company has partnered with major corporations like Parallex Bank and KingMakers (owners of Betkings) to offer transportation services to over 50,000 employees monthly.

One of Treepz’s significant achievements is its completion of the first-ever international cross-border rental trip between two African countries. This historic journey involved a fleet of buses transporting 96 passengers from Lagos, Nigeria, to Cotonou, Benin Republic, and back.

To celebrate this milestone, Treepz is launching a new, all-in-one mobility application designed to cater to corporate firms’ and individual users’ specific transportation needs. The app, which will be available in Lagos, Nigeria, on October 1, 2024, integrates various Treepz services, including Business Treepz and Rental Treepz, into a single platform.

Onyeka Akumah, Treepz CEO & Founder, explained that the new app offers a more streamlined and efficient transportation experience. “Businesses and schools can manage transportation with Business Treepz, while individuals can rent vehicles for airport transfers, executive travel, group trips, or special events,” he said.

Since its inception, Treepz has worked with numerous clients across Africa, including banks, travel agencies, and event planners. The company has completed over 5 million customer journeys and built a community of over 2000 registered drivers. Treepz is also committed to sustainability and has helped reduce CO2 emissions by over 50,000 kg through its advanced technologies.

As Treepz continues to innovate and expand its services, the startup remains at the forefront of Africa’s corporate mobility landscape.
