Digital Africa Global Consult (DAGC) Limited is set to launch a new initiative, the Digital Africa 100 Awards, to recognize and celebrate the continent’s top 100 digital innovators.

The announcement was made during the virtual unveiling of the company’s monthly magazine, DIGITAL AFRICA.

A Celebration of African Tech Excellence

The Digital Africa 100 Awards aim to highlight the achievements of Africa’s most influential tech companies, foster collaboration among leading tech players across the continent and inspire the next generation of African tech entrepreneurs.

The awards program will recognize 100 top tech companies from each of Africa’s five regions: West Africa, East Africa, North Africa, Southern Africa, and Central Africa.

    A Continental Roadshow

To ensure a comprehensive search, DAGC will embark on a continental roadshow to visit key tech hubs in Accra, Ghana (West Africa), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (East Africa), Cairo, Egypt (North Africa), Johannesburg, South Africa (Southern Africa) and Kinshasa, DR Congo (Central Africa).

    A Legacy of Innovation

Dr. Evans Woherem, Chairman of DAGC, expressed gratitude to the Nigerian government for its continued support of Digital Africa. He highlighted the significant role of the tech industry in driving Africa’s economic growth and development.

Frederick Apeji, CEO of the 13th Digital Africa 2025, emphasized the importance of recognizing and rewarding excellence in the African tech ecosystem. The Digital Africa 100 Awards will serve as a platform to connect leading innovators, investors, and policymakers, fostering a vibrant and dynamic African tech landscape.
